Plymouth's Stephen Beer, who is known for appearances on TV shows Too Fat To Work and Jeremy Kyle has claimed he was forced to stage a fake affair. The 49-year-old married man appeared on the now-axed tabloid talk-show seven times, first reaching out after he believed his wife was being unfaithful. The Metro reports that Mr Beer said that he felt that producers would use him and his wife "to fill some spots on the show". Mr Beer told Metro: "I contacted them in the first place but what they do is they phone you about four or five times a day. "After that they contacted me asking me to go on the show and asked if we had anything new to say, but every time we were going on there to say one thing, it got changed at the last minute." Stephen Beer found notoriety in 2015 after appearing on Channel 5's 'Too Fat To Work' with his wife, Michelle. He was then invited onto ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’ alongside Melissa Ede. They were there to answer accusations of an affair. Melissa, a lottery winner who won £4 million on a scratchcard, has recently died, just days before the ITV show was axed over the suicide of another contestant shortly after filming. It's all because of the Jeremy Kyle show. “The way he treated me was really bad, he made me look like a right twat. He said, 'don't come on my show again', but I'd already been on six times. It should be cancelled. “I was scared to go any where because every one was against me. I had the crisis team out, the mental health people, they came to my home to see if I was ok. “I tried to commit suicide a few times...
